A Portland area man is spending time at the Klamath County Jail on charges that include rape, strangulation and sexual abuse. 24-year old Charles Lee Bass was arrested Saturday after a Friday incident at the victim's home. Others left after a social gathering Thursday night, but Bass reportedly stayed behind and raped the victim. She was not injured, but was medically evaluated at Sky Lakes Medical Center. The investigation is ongoing.
