Mt Shasta is one of those waiting on snow. The resort was originally scheduled to open yesteraday, but they now say mid December. And forecasters say the weather systems won't cooperate with the resorts for another few weeks, with no major snow accumulations expected. For the most part it will stay cold and dry.
